UKfives provide part time jobs that could be suited for various ages ranging from students to semi-retired people, here are the job categories:
Pitch Co-ordinator
Your duties will be setting up the pitches with the help from the Ball Co-ordinator, ensure the pitches are safe, have all the correct information displayed at all times, greet teams, always making sure the teams have the correct information fixtures, etc…, manage the Ball Co-ordinator, packing the equipment away, ensuring the pitch is left how you found it and report the scores back to UKfives by email. This would be an ideal position for somebody who is 16 yrs + as you will be expected to accept banter from various teams and be able to give banter in a confident, yet professional manner. 1st Aid training is preferred but not essential, good rates of pay £8 per hr + commission for every new team signed up. Ball Co-ordinator
Your duties will be helping the Pitch Co-ordinator set up the pitches ready for kick off, making sure enough balls are ready for play, collecting/retrieve stray balls, ensure the teams always have adequate amount of balls in reserve, packing the equipment away and ensuring the pitch is left how you found it. This would be an ideal position for somebody who is 13 yrs + and who wants something more challenging than a paper round, we wont expect you to deal with teams, however you will need some form of sense of humour, good rates of pay for the age.
